Actichem, in partnership with Spec-Chem Group, launched cosmetic peptides in the Philippines last February 20, 2024 at the Richmonde Hotel in Eastwood City. Finally, these much-coveted active ingredients, such as the acclaimed Copper Tripeptide and Acetyl Hexapeptide-8 (a peptide with Botox-like activity popularized by the brand Argireline), both of which have taken the cosmetic world by storm, among other peptides for skin and hair, are here and available for the Philippines cosmetics market.
Over 40 attendees from the Cosmetic Industry composed of cosmetic manufacturers' R&D as well as contract manufacturers owners thronged the ballroom where the technical seminar was held. Three representatives from Spec-Chem Group - Ms. Yuli Yu (Sales Manager for Asia), Ms. Elza Ding (Sales Manager for Europe and Asia-Pacific), and Engr. Alice Wang (SC R&D senior engineer) - were present to discuss the cosmetic peptides, the kinds, activity, safety, and diverse applications. There were also prototype samples passed around for the attendees to examine and try.
The whole day affair was successful by all measures and we are deeply grateful to all our clients that attended as well as the lecturers from our partner-supplier Spech-Chem.
