In early June, Actichem president, Mr. Felix Peru, travelled to Japan to attend the 7th Cosmetic Ingredients and Technology Expo (CITE) 2015. The bustling, bayside city of Yokohama hosted the once-a-year 3-day event which was attended by a conglomerate of technical people and executives belonging to the Cosmetics Industry from around the world.

Mr. Peru’s itinerary included a trip to Gifu where he visited the headquarters of our major supplier, Ichimaru Pharcos, for the first time. After a whole day of plant visits, he, together with Ichimaru’s marketing staff, then travelled by bullet train to Yokohama.

Ichimaru president, Mr. Ando, wanted to make sure that Mr. Peru experience the “old, traditional Japan”, so he billeted him in a quaint hotel like the one below.
